IBM Cloud and Blockchain Technical Expert Gurvinder Ahluwalia to speak at MIT's Business of Blockchain Conference

ARMONK, N.Y., April 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- During the Business of Blockchain conference in Cambridge, MA today, Gurvinder Ahluwalia, CTO, Technical Solutioning, IBM, will speak at MIT Technology Review and the MIT Media Lab Digital Currency Initiative's first ever fintech conference examining the future of commerce.

Ahluwalia will be speaking on a panel at 2 p.m. EDT April 18 on how industries around the world are considering the potential applications and influence of blockchain. The panel will explore how blockchain impacts trust and transparency in global trade along with panelists Jalak Jobanputra of FuturePerfect Ventures, Lawrence Orsini of LO3 Energy and James Allen Regenor of Moog Aircraft Group.

As the Chief Technology Officer for Private Cloud at IBM's Western US Region, Ahluwalia is an expert on the creation of cloud and blockchain architectures. He chairs the Working Group on Cloud Business Patterns, a 200 company industry body of customers called the Cloud Standards Customer Council and is widely known for his technical perspectives on private, hybrid and public cloud, blockchain, cognitive computing, devops and workload analysis and migration.
